Product Overview

【 Principle 】

Peptone and beef extract provide carbon sources, nitrogen sources, vitamins, and growth factors; Sodium chloride maintains equilibrium osmotic pressure; Phosphatidylcholine neutralizes quaternary ammonium salt disinfectants to break down the destructive effect of quaternary ammonium salts on bacterial cell membranes and relieve antibacterial toxicity; Tween 80 is a non-ionic surfactant, disinfectant containing phenols, iodine, and alcohols. It emulsifies oil stains and removes microorganisms, assists in bacterial washing, and enhances the neutralization effect in conjunction with lecithin.

Main components

Composed of peptone, beef extract, Tween 80, sodium chloride, lecithin, and distilled water.

Application Scenarios

Disinfection effectiveness verification sampling: Wipe instruments and countertops treated with quaternary ammonium salts, alcohols, and phenolic disinfectants, neutralize residual disinfectants, and accurately evaluate disinfection effectiveness.

Monitoring of hospital infection environment: Sampling of ICU, operating room, diagnostic and treatment equipment, and bed guardrails, recovery of pathogenic bacteria suppressed by disinfectants, and investigation of potential cross infection hazards within the hospital.

Aseptic verification of medical devices: After disinfection of endoscopes and reusable diagnostic and therapeutic instruments, surface samples are taken to neutralize residual sterilization agents and ensure the authenticity of microbial detection.

Cosmetics production environment quality control: filling equipment, packaging table sampling, neutralization and production of disinfection and sterilization reagents, detection of microbial contamination on product contact surfaces.

Surface monitoring of pharmaceutical clean area: Sampling from sterile workshops and clean workstations to eliminate the antibacterial effect of disinfectants and meet the microbiological sampling requirements of the pharmacopoeia.

Public high-frequency contact detection: sampling of bus handrails, elevator buttons, and public sanitary ware, adapted to various commonly used disinfectants for neutralization, and improving the recovery rate of live bacteria.
