Product Overview

【 Principle 】

Peptone provides basic nutrition, repairs damaged bacteria, and improves the detection rate of live bacteria; Sodium dihydrogen phosphate and potassium dihydrogen phosphate form a buffer pair to stabilize pH and prevent acid-base damage to bacteria; Sodium chloride provides an isotonic environment; Tween-80 is a fat soluble disinfectant that helps to remove biofilms and reduce mechanical damage.

Main components

Composed of peptone, sodium chloride, disodium hydrogen phosphate, potassium dihydrogen sulfate, and Tween-80.

Storage conditions and expiration date

Storage conditions: This product should be stored in a dark environment at 2-25 ℃.

Validity period: The unopened original packaging has a validity period of 6 months.

This product is a disposable product.

Application Scenarios

After disinfection, instrument sampling and washing: wipe the disinfection surface and neutralize residual disinfectant for monitoring disinfection effectiveness.

Microbial examination of medical devices: soaking and rinsing endoscopes, catheters, etc., recovering residual microorganisms for sterile examination.

Sampling of hand hygiene disinfection effectiveness: residual live bacteria after washing off hands or disinfecting mucous membranes are evaluated for compliance with the disinfection process.

Clean environment and water source screening: Testing environmental samples such as operating rooms and purified water for colony counting and pathogenic bacteria detection.

Preparation and dilution of bacterial suspension: Gradient dilution of bacterial suspension is used for coating counting, turbidity adjustment, and pre-treatment of biochemical inoculation.

Short term transportation protection of samples: maintain bacterial activity and reduce bacterial death during the sampling and cultivation process.

Negative blank control: Verify the sterility of the eluent and exclude false positives caused by reagent contamination.
