Product Overview

【 Principle 】

Sodium dihydrogen phosphate and potassium dihydrogen phosphate form a buffer pair to stabilize pH and reduce bacterial death; Tween-80 infiltrates and washes off adherent bacteria, neutralizes fat soluble disinfectants, and reduces mechanical damage; Sodium thiosulfate specifically neutralizes chlorine containing disinfectants to prevent false negatives.

Main components

Composed of disodium hydrogen phosphate, potassium dihydrogen sulfate, Tween-80, and sodium thiosulfate.

Storage conditions and expiration date

Storage conditions: This product should be stored in a dark environment at 2-25℃.

Validity period: The unopened original packaging has a validity period of 6 months.

This product is a disposable product.

Application Scenarios

Sampling of disinfected surfaces: neutralize residual 84, alcohol, phenolic disinfectants on countertops, equipment, etc., and objectively evaluate the effectiveness of daily disinfection.

Reusable instrument detection: neutralize residual chlorine containing disinfectants on the surfaces of endoscopes, pipelines, etc., and recover residual live bacteria in the gaps.

Hand hygiene sampling: neutralize residual alcohol in the hands, accurately detect live bacteria, and assess the quality of hand disinfection.

Disinfection product test: Neutralize the tested disinfectant with standard sampling solution to ensure the true and reliable count of viable bacteria.

Screening of nosocomial infection environment: Sampling after disinfection in high-risk areas, quantitative detection of live bacteria, and identification of sources of multidrug-resistant bacterial contamination.

Gradient dilution and transport protection: supports bacterial dilution counting, buffer system protects bacterial cells, and reduces death during testing.

Blank control: Verify the sterility of the buffer and exclude false positives caused by reagent contamination.
