【 Principle 】
Tryptone, multivalent peptone, and yeast extract provide the necessary nutrients for growth; Sodium chloride maintains a balanced osmotic pressure; Glucose provides a carbon source; Potassium dihydrogen phosphate is used as a buffering agent.
Main components
Composed of tryptone, multivalent peptone, yeast extract powder, sodium chloride, dipotassium hydrogen phosphate, glucose, and distilled water.

[Sample Requirements]
Samples such as blood and cerebrospinal fluid from the human body.
Listeria monocytogenes enrichment: Pre enrichment of Listeria monocytogenes in food, obstetric swabs, blood, cerebrospinal fluid and other specimens, supplemented with growth factors using yeast cream, significantly improves the recovery rate of damaged Listeria monocytogenes, and is accompanied by the national standard Listeria monocytogenes testing process.
Pre sensitization culture of Listeria monocytogenes: TSA-YE agar plate isolated colonies were transferred to TSB-YE liquid for bacterial enrichment, and bacterial suspension was prepared for CLSI standard drug susceptibility testing.
Strain activation and short-term preservation: Resuscitation and passaging of Listeria monocytogenes standard strains and clinical isolates, temporary preservation.
Conventional pathogenic bacteria enrichment: enrichment of common pathogenic bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Streptococcus, etc., used for biochemical identification.
Pre treatment and enrichment of sterile samples: initial enrichment of microorganisms in medical devices and food samples.
Listeria monocytogenes: G ⁺ short rod-shaped bacterium, non spore forming, with flagella at 20-25 ℃ and active motility, with reduced flagella synthesis and reduced motility at 37 ℃, facultative anaerobic; Can be arranged in pairs or short chains. Cultivation characteristics: The broth is uniformly turbid, and there may be trace sediment at the bottom of the tube after standing; Nutritionally sufficient, damaged Listeria monocytogenes can easily recover when refrigerated.
Pathogenicity: neonatal meningitis, sepsis, maternal miscarriage, systemic infection in immunocompromised individuals, foodborne gastroenteritis.
Staphylococcus aureus: Staphylococcus aureus, non flagellar spore, facultative anaerobic; The meat soup is evenly turbid; Causing skin abscess, food poisoning, and bloodstream infections.
Escherichia coli: Gram positive flagellar bacteria, facultative anaerobic; The entire tube is turbid; Colonized bacteria in the intestine can cause urinary tract infections and enteritis.
A. Group B Streptococcus: Streptococcus pyogenes, non spore and flagellar, facultative anaerobic; Mild to moderate turbidity in meat broth; Wound infection, obstetric GBS mother infant infection.
