Clinical application scenarios

Selective enrichment of coconut fungus: According to GB 4789.29, it is used to enhance the growth of samples such as fermented rice flour and spoiled Tremella fuciformis.

Traceability of food poisoning: Enriching pathogenic bacteria in spoiled starchy foods and assisting in flow control.

Fungal strain activation and subculture: short-term recovery and expanded cultivation of various fungi and yeasts, preparing bacterial solutions for plate separation and toxin detection. Basic components of culture medium: Prepare PDA solid or semi-solid agar for counting, separation, and toxin production culture.

Introduction to the Relevant Microbiological Characteristics

pseudomonas cocovenenans

Biological characteristics

G ⁻ short rod-shaped bacterium, terminal single flagella, active in movement, without spores or capsules; Producing rice fermentation acid and toxin, the toxin is resistant to high temperatures, and ingestion of small amounts can cause multiple organ damage, resulting in a very high mortality rate; Likes high sugar and acidic environments, easily proliferates in fermented corn, glutinous rice, and spoiled fresh Tremella fuciformis, suitable for temperatures of 25-37 ℃; Efficiently utilizing glucose and potato polysaccharides, the proliferation rate in sugary liquids is superior to that of most intestinal bacteria.

Characteristics of PD water culture (25-28 ℃, 24-48 hours)

Uniform turbidity (clear → milky white turbidity), with a fine grayish white precipitate at the bottom of the tube after standing still; Long term cultivation produces light yellow toxin yellow, with liquid ranging from light yellow to orange yellow; PD water has no antibacterial ingredients, and molds, yeast, large intestine, and G bacteria can all grow synchronously. High impurity bacterial samples reduce the advantage of target bacteria.
