【 Principle 】
Peptone provides nitrogen source, vitamins, and amino acids; Glucose provides a carbon source; Sodium dihydrogen phosphate and potassium dihydrogen phosphate as buffer solutions; Beef bile salt and brilliant green are selective antibacterial agents that inhibit the growth of non Enterobacteriaceae bacteria.
Main components
Composed of peptone, glucose, disodium hydrogen phosphate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, bovine bile salt, brilliant green, and distilled water.
Storage conditions and expiration date
Storage conditions: This product should be stored in a dark environment at 2-8 ℃.
Validity period: The unopened original packaging has a validity period of 3 months.
This product is a disposable product.
Food microbiological testing: Selective enrichment of Salmonella and Shigella in food such as grains, meat products, fruits and vegetables.
Raw material inspection: screening for intestinal pathogenic bacteria in food raw materials and Chinese medicinal materials.
Environmental sample monitoring: Enrichment and cultivation of intestinal pathogenic bacteria in contact surfaces and wastewater of production workshops.
Microbial limit of drugs: Pre inoculation treatment of intestinal pathogenic bacteria in traditional Chinese medicine and natural medicines.
Enrichment of low bacterial count in samples: When the number of pathogenic bacteria in the sample is small, enrichment improves the subsequent separation and detection rate.
Escherichia coli
Gram negative short rods, facultative anaerobic, mostly flagellate, ferment lactose; Aerobic cultivation at 30-35 ℃ for 18-24 hours results in cloudy broth. Due to the fermentation of glucose to produce acid, the culture medium changes from green to yellow.
Salmonella
Gram negative bacteria, mostly with flagella, facultative anaerobic, do not ferment lactose; Aerobic cultivation at 30-35 ℃ for 18-24 hours results in cloudy broth and yellowing of the culture medium (acid production).
Shigella
Gram negative bacteria, lacking flagella and motility, do not ferment lactose; Aerobic cultivation at 30-35 ℃ for 18-24 hours results in cloudy broth and yellowing of the culture medium (acid production).
Enterobacter sakazakii
Gram negative bacteria, facultative anaerobic, with flagella; Aerobic cultivation at 30-35 ℃ for 18-24 hours results in cloudy broth and yellowing of the culture medium (acid production).
Enterobacter cloacae
Gram negative bacteria, facultative anaerobic, with flagella throughout the body and positive motility; Aerobic cultivation at 30-35 ℃ for 18-24 hours results in cloudy broth and yellowing of the culture medium (acid production).
