【 Principle 】

Gelatin trypsin hydrolysate and yeast extract provide nitrogen sources, vitamins, and trace elements; Glucose is a fermented sugar; Sodium chloride can maintain equilibrium osmotic pressure; Sodium deoxycholate and crystal violet can inhibit the growth of Gram positive bacteria, especially Gram positive bacilli and Streptococcus faecalis; Neutral red serves as a pH indicator; Agar is a coagulant.
